Card reissue bot for a Mastercard re-carding programme

An unattended bot that processed more than 40,000 card reissue requests end to end, validating each record, updating core systems and writing an audit-ready log for every transaction.

The problem

A re-carding programme means reissuing cards in bulk, and every request involves the same steps: validate the record, update the core card system and keep evidence of what was done. At tens of thousands of requests, doing that by hand is slow and expensive, and every keying error lands with a customer.

What I built

An unattended bot that works through the request queue on its own. It validates each record against the programme rules, updates the core systems and logs the outcome. Records that fail validation are set aside with the reason, so the operations team only touches the cases that need them.

Step 1, SystemsRequest queueReissue requests loaded in batches
Step 2, RobotValidate recordChecked against programme rules
Step 3, RobotUpdate core systemCard record updated
Step 4, RobotWrite logEvidence for every transaction
Step 5, PeopleHandle rejectsOps team reviews failed records
Step 6, SystemsReportProgress and exceptions reported
Simplified flow. System names are withheld for confidentiality.
